Before your first session it is helpful to know that counselling is a confidential space to explore your emotions, thoughts and experiences with a trained professional. Virtual counselling works best when you are in a private, quiet space to talk to your therapist. Ensure you have stable internet connection and make sure you are in a comfortable location. There is no pressure to talk about anything you are not ready to discuss, counselling moves at YOUR pace.
